About
Patrick Vilar founded Vilar Law, P.A. with the goal of providing honest, committed, energetic, and cost-effective legal representation to individuals and families throughout South Florida.
For nearly three decades, Mr. Vilar has dedicated his practice exclusively to family law, helping clients navigate complex legal matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, relocation, high-asset divorce, and post-judgment modifications.
Mr. Vilar is known for combining strong legal advocacy with practical, common-sense solutions. He understands that every family law case is unique and takes the time to carefully listen to each client’s concerns, answer questions, and develop a strategy designed to achieve the best possible outcome.
Education & Early Leadership
Mr. Vilar earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law.
While in law school, he:
- Competed in Moot Court and advanced to the quarterfinals
- Served as President of the Hispanic Law School Organization
- Developed the advocacy and leadership skills that continue to benefit his clients today
